Employment Opportunities

This is a list of general positions that Flagg offers during the summer season. It is not a list of available positions:

Office/Administration: ($8.00/hour)
Office/Administration/Switchboard Operator: answer telephones, basic office work, process day end reports, basic human resource and general office duties, some general accounting duties.

Security: ($7.15/hour-$8.00/hour)
Night Security: overnight security for entire property (10pm-7am) ($8.00/hour)

Dorm & Recreation Hall Attendant: ($7.15/hour)
Maintain cleanliness and general upkeep of employee recreation hall. Make sure that employees are following all rules, and recreation equipment and laundry facilities are properly being cared for and put away and hall closing on time.

Driver: ($7.15/hour)
Town Driver: bus/shuttle driving for employee’s to/from Jackson, bank runs, town runs etc.

Retail: ($7.15-7.50/hour)
Grocery Store Clerk: ($7.50/hour) cash register operation in grocery store, processing credit cards, cash handling.

Gift Shop Clerk: ($7.50/hour)
Cash register operation and sales of gift shop items.

Grocery Store Stocker: ($7.15/hour)
Stocking of items in grocery store.

Guest Services: ($7.50/hour)

Front Desk:
General guest services, greeting guests, checking guest’s in/out of cabins, tent, RV.
Activities Clerk:
Promotion of activities and scheduling guests for activities, sales experience a plus.
Campground Attendant:
Checking guests in/out of campground/RV area.

Maintenance: ($7.15/hour + DOE)
General daily resort maintenance & repair including painting, plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, etc. Possible heavy equipment operation, and heavy lifting.

Campground Cleaning/Maintenance: ($7.15/hour)
Daily maintenance of campground area including cleaning of grounds, showers and restrooms.

Food and Beverage: ($3.65-$6.50/hour plus tips)

Server: ($3.65/hour plus tips)
Service of guests in restaurant.

Cashier/Host/Bussers: ($6.25-6.50/hour plus tips)
Process cash, credit cards, room charges in restaurant greet guests, arrange seating, and assist bussers and servers, clean tables in restaurant.

Bartender: ($4.65/hour plus tips)
Bartend, back up cashier.

Kitchen: ($7.15-$12.00/hour)

Line Cook: ($9.00-$12.00/hour)
Prepare meals to order off menu.

Prep Cook: ($8.00-$9.00/hour)
Prep kitchen before, during and after meals served in restaurant.

Dishwasher: ($7.15/hour)
Wash dishes from restaurant/kitchen, keep steady supply of necessary items for bussers and kitchen staff.

Night Cleaner (kitchen): ($7.40/hour)
Thoroughly clean kitchen after restaurant closes at night.

EDR Cleaner (employee dining room): ($7.15/hour)
Clean employee dining room after meals.

Hotel Services: ($4.50/room-$7.15/hour)

Housekeeping: ($4.50/room)
Thorough cleaning cabins before, during and after guests’ arrival/departure. (Average daily rooms is 13-15).
Laundry Attendant: ($7.15/hour)
Clean all linens from cabins using commercial laundry facilities
Lodge Cleaner/Porter: ($7.15/hour)
Continuous upkeep of lodge cleanliness and appearance.

General Information

Our summer season is from Mid-May until the end of September. Our main considerations will be to those applicants with retail, food service, hotel experience, their dates of availability and their genuine enthusiastic desire to work with the public. First considerations will be given to those applicants with the longest available time to work.
